Pete Writes Back- Victory Tastes Like Green Tea Ice Cream!
Fantastic! Yesterday I finally took the plunge and asked out my online crush. He wrote back! Guess where we’re going to be tonight? Right here! I’m going to get Green Tea Ice Cream- it sounds amazing.
I got the e-mail as I sat down to work this morning. It was so frustrating at first- my e-mail said that I had a message, but then my boss came by! It was the most boring conversation I’ve ever had- all I wanted to do was get my click on and log in. But my boss goes on forever…
“Tara, how are you?”
Go away!!!
“Did you finish that project?”
Let me log in!!!
“Are you liking this weather?”
Of course not! Who likes being cold? Now let me check my account.
Anyway, I finally logged in, so it’s all A-OK. And Pete gave me his invitation for us to go out tonight. Thank goodness I’m dressed up. I wonder if he will be? We’ll see soon!
PS- So, I’m a closet lover of Seattle Jack. I admit it. If you come to NY, meet up with me! In the meantime, if you’re really sick of filling out online dating questionnaires, then try OKCupid! I’ll make a quiz for you (Called “Why Should I Visit Tara in NY”!).
